Our Glanwood parquet range impresses with its rustic look and feel in a “used look”. The raw parquet is produced in the region and refined in the Lüneburg parquet factory. Glanwood parquet is available in plank or strip parquet format and gives any room a distinctive touch.
Upon request, our parquet is availble as a FSC®-certified product. Our FSC® certified products also fulfil the QNG certification requirements.
The special thing about our Glanwood parquet is the unique manufacturing method. Even when producing the slats, the production process differs from conventional parquet production. Instead of round wood or block goods, Glanwood boils the wood in large containers with water and soaks it. The goods are then cut like a strong veneer. This gives the Glanwood parquet its special character. Quick drying then creates the unique profile and “used looks” feel.
The slats are processed and pressed by hand in our parquet factory in Dömitz. All knots and cracks are carefully filled with filler to preserve the unique depth.
After profiling, the Glanwood parquet is refined in our parquet factory in Lüneburg. We use ecologically harmless color oils from Rubio Monocoat. This special manufacturing method and careful handcraft create a parquet floor that stands out from others and offers high quality.
